Pair Antique French Neoclassical Brass Urns feature a design that dates back thousands of years!  Ancient Greeks and then Romans used this form for a wide variety of vessels, and variations developed over the centuries, including the raised, buttressed handles and flared, square base that this pair exhibits, designed for ease in handling and stability when in place.  Perfect for displaying dried flowers or natural flowers and greenery, they are elegantly formed and embellished with a repeating acanthus leaf pattern around the widest part of the vessel in fine detail.  Beaded trim adds a nice touch.
