Framed Oil Painting on Canvas by S. Freynac is a wonderfully inviting work in pastel tones depicting the recreational art of sailing, an activity that everyone who has ever had the opportunity to engage will agree is a most relaxing and satisfying pastime.  Here we see boats on the banks of a tranquil lake awaiting their chance to be on the water, while a graceful sloop glides across the water in the background, with subtle hills as a backdrop.  Freynac has used a visually intriguing technique of a shade tree in the immediate foreground at left to create a sense that the viewer is actually in the scene, about to launch.  Survives in its original frame.
