Framed Oil Painting on Canvas by Pieter Van Mol (1906-1988) depicts a lovely basket of flowers that has toppled over giving an interesting perspective on the classic still life.  Muted earth tones and two toned gold frame create an earthy palette.  The artist's namesake was a Renaissance era painter of great renown in Europe at the turn of the 17th century.  This work was obviously influenced by the impressionist movement, and survives in its original frame.
