Antique Framed Oil Painting on Panel by Ludovic Janssen (1888-1954) is another wonderful example of the Dutch painter's work, who specialized in post-impressionistic landscapes designed to add color and naturalistic beauty to any room!  This example, which survives in its original frame, was inspired by the sand dunes at Coq sur Mer, and Janssen has masterfully blended sky with sea and beach, with a distant windmill in the background and a mother and daughter enjoying the sea breeze and view for the perfect humanistic touch.
