Antique Framed Oil Painting on Canvas by Massimo Salvati depicts a quaint harbor of a seaside village in Italy, all from the fisherman's perspective with the village in the background across the water.  Here Salvati has used a bright sunny day allowing the viewer to see distant mountains beyond the village.  Several vessels also ply the waters in front of the village, which consists of homes and businesses spread across the waterfront and up the gently swelling hillside.  The fishing vessel in the foreground boasts handsome lines with a short bowsprit which allowed those who sailed her to add just a bit more canvas when the winds were light.
