19th Century Framed Hand-Colored Lithograph is a splendid rendition of the Grand Canal of Venice near the Church of St. Claire.  Produced for the lucrative French market, during the period it remained fashionable for the affluent to spend time or vacation in storied city which dates back as far as the 10th century BC when the area was inhabited by a people named the Veniti.  Venice eventually became the capital of the Republic of Venice for over a thousand years!
This example is a lithograph that has been carefully hand-painted to provide color and visual interest.  Newly backed and sealed, it's ready to hang!
