Antique Hand-Carved Italian Rococo Wall Mirror is a wonderful expression of the wood carver's art!  Rendered from solid old-growth oak, it features a curvaceous frame and asymmetrical crown embellishment complemented by the symmetrical remainder of the undulating frame.  Although the crown carving features a naturalistic foliate design, the base is a shell in the form of a crown for balance.  Florals cascade down the curves of the upper shoulders, while more foliates rise up to meet them on the lower curves of the frame, all of which surround the beveled mirror for a splendid combination.
