19th Century French Napoleon III Period Gilded Mirror is a classic example of the genre, melding the architecture of the Louis Philippe period with the grandeur of the 2nd Empire to produce an exquisite example you'll be able to enjoy a lifetime!  The subtly arched top is lavished with a floral wreath and sprays cascading to the shoulders, enhanced with ribbon and foliates.  The frame itself is an elaborate two-tiered design, with a raised foliate pattern on the outside and subtle, intriguing banded wheat close to the mirror glass.  The original hand-beveled mirror is in place, protected by the original rough-hewn planks in the back.  Foliate flourishes adorn the bottom corners for an added elegance.
