Italian Baroque Giltwood Mirror was hand-carved from solid wood in an elaborate design which features full sculpting allowing the wall to show through the pierced openings in the design. Foliate motifs dominate the composition, creating a shield or crest form, with an exquisite crown projecting above overlooking the entire work. Hand-applied gold finish adds opulence, and has achieved a nice level of patina for more visual appeal and charm.
