Antique French Petite Oval Gilded and Silvered Wall Mirror is a charming representation of the neoclassical style rendered with a silver and gold finish that combines the appearance of the two precious metals which was the impetus behind the creation of electrum, a naturally occurring alloy of gold, silver and sometimes copper, which appears in records that date back as early as the third millennium BC.  Here we see the timeless oval form created from a finely molded framework accentuated by carved floral and foliate embellishments at each of the four extremities, which makes it capable of being hung vertically or horizontally!  Ideal for powder baths, small nooks and niches, such mirrors will add a classic touch to your decor's detail.
