17th Century French Hand-Carved Cabinet Door with Half-Column Pilasters was salvaged from a gracious manoir, and was designed for a wall cabinet in the library to be used for the owner's private possessions. Carvings were inspired by the Renaissance, with stylized figural bust, phoenix, fruit, floral and foliate motifs. Corinthian capitals appear atop the fluted half columns that frame the door and have miraculously survived together over the centuries. What a fascinating relic that is sure to inspire intriguing conversations in your home!
