Rustic Antique Trestle Table ~ Dining Table in Stripped Oak was literally designed to last for centuries, using centuries-old techniques handed down from generation to generation!  Hand-fitted mortise & tenon joinery combines with sturdy planks and timbers of seasoned oak to make a sturdy table that your grandkids will continue to enjoy.  The plank top is supported by a recessed, subtle apron connecting the pair of double-post end structures, which are in turn connected with a fully mortised trestle beam shimmed into place.  Feet splay out but are contoured to allow maximum comfort while dining.  The stripped finish reveals the sheer natural beauty of the old-growth wood and is ideal for today's more casual decors.
