Antique Rustic Stripped Sycamore Trestle Dining Table was literally designed to last for centuries!  Hand-crafted from thick, solid planks of old-growth sycamore, it features a top so sturdy a supporting apron is unnecessary, maximizing knee room below.  The plank top is upheld by two massive end supports each cut with graceful scrolled edges, mating with a scrolled foot structure on the floor at each end, while providing overhang on the ends for the lord and lady of the castle.  The supports are connected with a shimmed fully mortised beam trestle for added strength and longevity ensuring your grandchildren will still be raising their families with this wonderful table in the distant future.  Pegged mortise & tenon joinery was used in the traditions that date back centuries.
