19th Century Rustic Farm Trestle Table is perfect for adding rustic charm to your dining experience!  Hand-crafted from thick, solid planks of old-growth oak, it was literally designed to last for centuries.  The plank top is affixed to a sturdy platform via hand-cut dovetail joints.  The platform consists of timbers reinforced by corbels above and below, and connected with a massive trestle across the centerline below, well away from knees and feet.  Pegged mortise & tenon joinery was employed to assure longevity.  The trestle features a contoured shape for visual appeal, and the rustic, hand-hewn look is accentuated by the weathered finish.
