Antique Liegoise Louis XIV Table provides a surface with flourish! Hand-crafted from dense, old-growth oak by the master cabinetmakers of Liege, the storied region known for its fine craftsmanship for many centuries, it features a spacious top with double beveled, contoured edge all around. The top overlooks four apron sections, each carved with Baroque-inspired motifs of trefoils, stylized shells, and foliates, all rendered on a contoured and complex surface consisting of a single traverse of wood. Each leg is one piece of wood as well, boldly contoured and lavished with carved embellishments from the top of the shoulder to the tip of the feet. An excellent choice for adding flair to the room without going "over the top"!
