Antique Country French Stripped Oak Trestle Table is the perfect choice for the casual or rustic decor!  Hand-crafted from thick planks and timbers of solid oak, it was literally built to last for generations!  The 4 inch thick top is so sturdy it doesn't require a reinforcing apron underneath, which increases leg room and knee clearance to a generous 26 inches high.  Support is provided by four posts joined to a "T" at the top which is affixed to, but can be removed from, the top for transport.  The bottom of the posts are attached to the transverse feet, which are also connected by a stout timber fully mortised through and shimmed in a traditional method that dates back centuries.  Painstakingly stripped by our expert in-house staff, this handsome table is poised to be the center of your family memories for decades to come!
