Antique Country French Louis XIV Draw Leaf Dining Table represents a clever design that has two leaves that tuck into slots underneath the main table top when not needed, then draw out easily and quickly when extra guests arrive. Leaves just as quickly tuck back in to reclaim floor space. This table, rendered from densely grained oak, features a subtly contoured and beveled plank top. The apron is a woodcarver's delight, with matching patterns on the long aprons, and a proportionately sized matching pattern on the short aprons. Stylized shell, floral and foliate designs are centered on each apron, surrounded by intricately executed cross hatching. All four legs are exquisite, blended beautifully into the attached aprons and carved with acanthus leaf and lion's paw feet. Ready to provide timeless style, flair, and wonderful dining memories for your family for decade after decade to come!
