Antique Country French Cherry Wood Dining Table combines the capable craftsmanship of skilled rural artisans with the richness of aged, patinaed cherry wood to create a warm and welcoming dining table ready to take center stage in the room!  Only three solid planks were used to form the top, capped off with end pieces, all joined with tongue & groove and pegged mortise & tenon joinery, the latter of which was also employed to connect the subtly scrolled apron sections and solid timbers cut into graceful cabriole forms serving as the legs.  A cutlery drawer is a traditional addition to one end, for the host to access while preparing the final touches to the meal, with a cutting board pull out on the opposite end perfect for preparing bread for the repast.  The legs are finished with club feet and tip extensions to allow additional knee clearance.  Ideal for the casual and relaxed decor!
