Set of 6 Antique French Louis XVI Dining Chairs feature timeless styling inspired by the neoclassical movement during the reign of Louis XVI.  Starting below we find escargots on the feet of the elegantly yet subtly scrolled legs, leading up to the apron which has also been very subtly scrolled and bordered.  The tailored lines of the framework and the seatback uprights are classic, and the cross pieces that support the seatback itself show fine molded detail below, and an arched form above adorned with flowing ribbon tied in a bow, all hand-carved for wonderful artistry.  Each has been upholstered in faux leather which remains quite serviceable, but is easy to replace with your coordinating fabric.
