Set of Twelve 18th Century Swedish Gustavian Dining Chairs includes 2 Armchairs were built to grace an elegant mansion in Sweden, now ready to add style, flair and timeless elegance to your own dining experience!  The shield-back seats all feature a diamond rosette with beaded framing, and french bordering accenting the shield forms, but no other carved embellishment.  That doesn't mean there's no style flair, though, as the frameworks are the epitome of elegance, with gently splayed legs and curved seats designed for maximum comfort and stability.  Note the pegged mortise & tenon construction.  Recently upholstered with striped mohair and brass tacks, they're ready for yet another generation's enjoyment!
