Set of 6 Antique French Louis XVI Upholstered Dining Chairs were hand-crafted from fine walnut and recently upholstered making them ready to make your dining experience as comfortable as it is elegant!  Subtly arched seat backs and lyre-shaped seat frame are carved with spiral ribbon motif all around, enhancing the beauty of the fabric.  A pair of tapered and fluted legs emanating from rosette-adorned plinth blocks provide support in the front, and are joined to the sturdy seatback uprights in the rear via the classic French "H" stretcher design.  Intriguingly, we have another set from the same maker in a different but complementary shade of fabric crafted from oak that would make great partners, if you need a set of 12~
