19th Century French Louis XVI Walnut Marble Top Buffet makes an excellent choice for any room!  Sculpted from sumptuous French walnut, it features a classical architecture that literally defies time itself.  A richly veined marble top provides a carefree yet elegant surface, and presides over the finely crafted casework below.  The top tier consists of a pair of drawers fitted with cast bronze ring pulls and framed by three finely carved rosettes.  Trim molding separates the drawer tier from the cabinet tier immediately below, which boasts elaborately carved panels in double frameworks depicting stylized naturalistic themes, accented by intricately cast bronze key guards.  The cabinet doors open to reveal a nice storage space, which complements the full width open display shelf below framed by carved corbels.  Tailored base molding, chamfered side panels, and urn-shaped feet complete the effect.
