19th Century French Henri II Neoclassical Writing Table makes a great choice for a home office, a student desk, or just a handy table to have in any room that supplies a convenient, full width drawer. Hand-crafted from solid old-growth oak, its solid plank top was designed for centuries of daily use. The single full width drawer features a diamond raised panel, and reveals hand-dovetailing when open. Each corner boasts perpendicular corbels carved with shell motif, which appears over the double turned column supports on each corner. A pendant finial on a carved corbel is just visible at the center of each side. The columns converge on the "H" structure below which also features a colonnade of turned columns across the width, with eight bun feet finishing the look below. Finished on all four sides, it's a great choice for placement anywhere in the room, even at the center for all to appreciate!
