Antique Rustic Country French Desk ~ Dining Table in Sycamore is ideal for the casual decor, or for the executive who prefers a less pretentious look.  The table is perfect as a breakfast table or casual dining area, as well.  Solid sycamore wood from top to bottom, it features thick planks for the top and four posts that were used to create the legs which are attached to the aprons with mortise & tenon joinery.  Two spacious drawers allow lots of convenient storage, and are fitted with brass ring pulls for easy access.  Sycamore wood has been used for centuries in Europe, as it is readily available and a durable, visually aesthetic hardwood that creates wonderfully long-lasting furniture.
