19th Century Rustic Desk ~ Sofa Table was hand-crafted from solid oak to last for centuries!  The thick plank top has four mitered corners eliminating sharp edges, with a molding detail that adds a little flair.  Support is provided by a pair of turned columns affixed to cross beams under the table top, and scrolled legs below.  At the center is a single drawer that will hold more than enough for today's 21st century office or library needs, accessed with a single turned wood pull.  Finished all around, it will make a good choice for against the wall or the center of the room, and is just shallow enough to serve behind a sofa in the great room.  The richness and patina of the aged wood only adds to the visual appeal.
