Antique French Louis XVI Demilune Mahogany Console with Carrara Marble will add a touch of timeless elegance to any wall, any room!  Hand-crafted from fine mahogany, brass and luxurious Carrara marble, it features the classic demilune form that presents no sharp edges into the traffic area.  What's more, the marble has been given a cove bevel for a finishing touch.  The apron/casework contains a single drawer with brass knob for convenient storage, originally designed for gloves if used in an entryway.  What sets this gem apart is that it's supported by four tapered and fluted legs, each with brass feet, such that it is free standing and does not have to be affixed to the wall like most other consoles.  As such, it can be used as a sofa table or for other purposes.
