19th Century Italian Renaissance Walnut Hat & Coat Rack was designed to provide a decorative place to stash outerwear upon entering the home.  Carved from left to right and top to bottom, it features timeless Italian flair executed in finely grained walnut.  A shelf across the top is a nice place to toss caps, while larger hats, coats, scarves and the like can be hung on the five large carved pegs.  The pegs are "guarded" by smiling caricatures of lions that appear on the side corbels.  Dentil across the top and a scrolled flourish on the bottom combine with the repeating pattern behind the pegs for a truly timeless look.
