19th Century French Louis Philippe Mahogany Marble Top Console features its original gray marble top, so in vogue now and during the period itself!  The rich veining blends the various shades of gray with a white alabaster color creating a neutral result perfect for most color schemes, and the rounded bevel called a "bullnose" in today's parlance, softens the edges splendidly.  The sheer natural beauty of the exotic imported mahogany was allowed to take front and center stage via the tailored lines of the form.  A concave loser shelf provides structural as well as aesthetic benefits, and with the four legged design it stands independently, making it unnecessary to mount to the wall like most consoles.  A full width drawer is also concealed in the front apron showing the dovetail work hinting at the quality, and providing a convenient storage space.  Ideal for a clean uncluttered look!
