18th Century French Regence Marble Top Console is the perfect way to add timeless elegance to your entryway, hall or any niche! Sculpted from old-growth oak and left in a natural wood finish, it features lavishly carved shell and foliate designs pierce-carved through the contoured aprons above and below, with boldly scrolled cabriole legs. Note the incredible detail attained by the sculptor especially in the shell designs which are substantially different yet completely compatible. There's even a crosshatch design on the remainder of the apron facade that is meticulously executed. Topped with luxuriously veined marble that has been carefully hand-contoured and beveled to follow the graceful architecture, it is designed to produce an elegant accent to your casual decor. The sheer natural beauty and patina of the wood contrasts perfectly with the rich veining of the hand-beveled marble!
