Pair 19th Century Delft Blue & White Vases are excellent examples of the fine artistry in porcelain that have been produced in the region for centuries!  Deep, rich cobalt blue was used to paint a chateau scene as the primary image, surrounded by an intricate framework and embellishments.  The embellishments which consist of stylized floral and foliate motifs wrap around the faceted sides, ending on the back of six facets.  Because of the fine clays used, and the proprietary glazing compounds and firing methods, such pieces retain their rich coloration for hundreds of years, ready to beautify your home or office for decades to come!
Circa 1890s
