The faceted urn tapers to a narrower circular opening, upon which the dome-shaped lid rests. The lid is also adorned with a charming foo dog motif with whimsical character. Wildflowers, foliates and intriguing geometric forms have been hand-painted onto the surface using rich cobalt blues, forest greens, saffron yellows and copper reds to create a work that is decorative all on its own that also serve as a receptacle for freshly picked flowers when one so desires!
