18th Century Delft Blue & White Vegetable Serving Bowl was beautifully hand-crafted and artistically painted to create a statement on the table of its proud owner!  The interesting design allowed serving stalk-shaped vegetables like carrots and asparagus, with the corners eliminated to remove sharp edges.  The painted bordering and centerpiece celebrate the beauty of nature, using rich cobalt blue applied meticulously with small brushes and deft strokes.  Even the outsides of the bowl were treated to painted designs to provide visual appeal from all angles.  Very simply signed by an underscored "P" by the artist.
