Set of Four Antique French Directoire Style Chairs in Maple is a perfect example of the refined, graceful neoclassical style that was founded during the days of Napoleon.  This set was hand-crafted from dense maple and given a rich cherry tone stain which works so well with the rose colored fabric which remains very serviceable.  The contours of the seatback eliminate sharp corners and provide a comfortable rest for your back, with just a little embellishment underneath that depicts linked chain.  The graceful curves of the seatback uprights combines form and function, melding with the contours of the seat and the subtle curves of the legs below.  Great for a game table, breakfast room, or just as occasional chairs to disperse throughout the home!
