19th Century French Renaissance Chair with Grapevine Motif is ideal for the wine room, game room, or as occasional chair anywhere in the home!  The uprights below and above, along with the horizontal stretchers, have all been turned in the barley twist fashion.  The seat is caned for lightweight comfort, and surrounded by gadrooned edging.  Atop the arched seatbacks appears a grapevine motif flanked by rosettes with turned finials.  The back splat is a continuation of the fully laden grapevine motif arranged in a framework with scroll flourishes.  What a timeless look!
