19th Century Swedish Whitewashed Bookcase features a stately, tailored architecture that makes it incredibly versatile in a wide variety of decor styles.  Hand-crafted from old-growth indigenous pine, it features four panes of glass on each door at the top, with a chamfered panel at the bottom of each door for more discreet storage.  Doors are hung with hinges positioned for wide opening, revealing four adjustable shelves for 5 surfaces of storage within.  Exuding understated elegance, the bookcase displays a finely molded crown, corbel style braces on the feet below, pegged mortise & tenon joinery throughout, and a handsome key guard in hand-forged steel.  The painted finish combines a whitewashed effect with a subtle distressed appearance for a truly memorable impression!
