Antique Liegoise Neoclassical Whitewashed Bookcase ~ Display Cabinet is an intriguing design, featuring a tailored expression of an architectural form that dates back thousands of years, melded with subtle scrollwork expressed in molding detail.  A multi-tiered crown overlooks the bonnet which is fitted with five glazed panes, which in turn overlook five glazed sections of the upper tier immediately below.  Two of the narrow panes combine with the center pane to provide a framework for the pair of doors, which open to reveal multiple surfaces thanks to the adjustable shelving inside.  Molded detail that matches the bonnet above surrounds the elements of the middle tier which also contains two exterior drawers.  A similar design was also employed for the lower cabinet, with solid panels substituted over glazing.  Turned urn-form legs provide support, with plenty of bold transverse molding detail to separate and define the three tiers.  Our own professional in-house experts have applied the subtle whitewashed finish which results in a softened color and texture ideal for a wider variety of decors.
