19th Century French Renaissance Triple Hunt Bookcase is an astounding example of the wood sculptor's art!  Crafted in a neoclassic style of architecture, it features a bold multi-tiered crown centered with a bold heraldic crest that overlooks the upper tier fitted with three glazed doors and enhanced with barley twist columns and lavishly carved pilasters between the doors.  The lower unit celebrates the bounty of the earth, a successful hunt and an equally successful fishing trip, all rendered in bold full relief by talented artisans.  The lower panels are also separated by richly carved pilasters and framed with barley twist columns, and topped with three drawers carved with lions' heads for pulls.  Bold molding detail from top to bottom completes the look.
