19th Century French Louis XVI Neoclassical Walnut Triple Bookcase is a superlative example of the cabinetmaker's art!  The talented artisans utilized sumptuous, indigenous French walnut to create a grand cabinet with three glazed doors fitted with beveled glass above, three doors below, and three drawers in between.  The boldly molded crown above features elaborate bas relief carvings across the front, separated by corbels which are positioned above pilasters on the upper tier that define the corners and separate the glass doors.  Inside, adjustable shelves allow you an almost infinite range of positions to best display your finest books, collection, or family memorabilia.  Three drawers just underneath are defined with rosettes and carved Greek wave across the facade, centered with a relief of a floral wreath with sprays.  All three doors below are lavished with exquisite relief carvings of classical themes including musical instruments, flowing ribbon, shells, open books, foliates and even music scores.  Bold molding throughout the design ensures a stunning visual presence from all angles.
