18th Century Country French Painted Bookcase ~ China Buffet will add a splash of provincial color to any room, and provide both abundant storage and display for a delightful combination!  Hand-crafted by talented artisans using time-honored techniques handed down from generation to generation, it features a slightly recessed top tier with six glazed panels on each side and doors in front with glazing behind a French-scrolled framework allowing display of items above the interior shelf.  The interior shelf features a pair of flatware or what-not drawers, with more storage underneath hidden by the lower panels of the door and upper casework, which in turn feature diamond shaped panels highlighted in off-white to match the treatment of the trim and carved accents all over the design.  The lower tier is essentially a two-door buffet with a pair of drawers over a pair of cabinet doors that open wide without a stile to reveal cavernous unimpeded storage below.  Steel key guards & hinges, plus a scrolled apron, legs and carved rosettes complete the look.
Shelf supports already installed for a mid-level shelf in the upper tier which can be glass or wood.  If a shelf is desired contact our Dallas showroom for options.
