19th Century French Louis XVI Rosewood Marble Top Corner Vitrine ~ Cabinet is a remarkable piece, crafted with classic, tailored architecture but with distinctive features that set it apart.  Of course the shape is immediately evident, comprising a quarter of a cylinder form ~ with rounded glass mounted in the door and framed with fine molding and foliate flourishes in the corner ~ that follows that rounded cylinder form.  The cabinet opens to reveal three display surfaces on "pie shaped" shelves.  Fine molding separates the cabinet section with the drawer above, designed to pull directly out along the center radius of the piece with the aid of a generous cast bronze pendant pull.  The base below offers visual counterweight, with each veneered with cross-matched grain patterns for added interest.  Topped with luxuriously veined rouge marble, it is ideal for creating a focal point to an otherwise nondescript corner of the room!
