19th Century English Mahogany Corner Bookcase ~ Curio Cabinet will make the perfect choice for utilizing an otherwise empty corner space to one's greatest advantage! Storage below behind the double door cabinet, and display above with glazed upper doors and two shelves for three surfaces total create lots of versatility. The crown molding consists of a two-tiered design with the lower portion fluted including the mitered corners. Below, the base consists of corners cut in a corbel style, which, combined with the geometric pattern of the glazed pane framework, comprise the entire design theme. The visual appeal, however, is magnified by the richness of the sumptuous and exotic imported mahogany, considered one of the best furniture woods of all time, imported from the Americas for the lucrative high-end furniture trade. Brass key guards allow one to leave a supplied pull key in the doors for ease in opening.
