19th Century Swedish Painted Bench features a tailored, understated elegance that will lend itself well to casual decors, sun rooms, and protected outdoor spaces.  Hand-crafted from solid old-growth oak, it has been given a painted finish over the years that has achieved a lovely state of distress.  Classic slat back and plank seat are well supported with a wraparound apron, and a little style flair has been imparted to the armrest supports and front legs.  The open nature of the design also makes it lend its attributes to an open feel around a table, especially in front of a large window.
