Each chair has been recently upholstered in a high quality print fabric for year after year of enjoyment, accentuating the colors of the gold highlights that embellish the hand carved detailing on the entire framework. The double scrolled crown creates a triple arch on the seatback, carved with shell, acanthus plume and cross hatching Armrest supports are elegantly formed for comfort, and feature upholstered arm pads, and are supported by boldly scrolled uprights caved with shell and bordering. The apron is lavished with the same trio of motifs as the crown on three sides, with carving overlapping even onto the back side of the chair. Four scrolled legs carved with acanthus plumes and bell flowers are tipped in escargots, and connected with double lyre stretchers for stylish strength.
